FOPAC's First Annual celebration of New Year's Eve at 51 Walden on December 31, 2007 was a huge success! Under the direction of Dick Chick, Orion Big Band and vocalists Brad Amidon and Sarah Telford provided lively dance music for the enthusiastic crowd and a debonaire Cliff Bean served as master of ceremonies for the evening.

Sarah, a sought-after soloist and recording artist, is a member of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus and has appeared with the Boston Pops. She has her own jazz band, Firefly, a dynamic band appearing in Greater Boston.

Brad is also a member of the Tanglewood Chorus and both Sarah and Brad appeared in last season's production of Pirates of Penzance at 51 Walden.

FOPAC sponsored the event, which was co-ordinated by Kathy Chick. The evening was complete with decorations, party favors, hors d'oevures, champagne and a cash bar. Proceeds went toward the maintenance of the performing arts center at 51 Walden.
